Project management of individual
projects is one of the most common ways in which our client
relationship begins. This is often due to the workload internally
and/ or the need for specific skills and focus on a particular
initiative.
We use PRINCE2 rigorously
but applied to the size/complexity of the project and in the
context of our clients’ management structures and practices.
Occasionally, clients also
require low level input on projects via an assurance role,
this can enable expertise to be brought to bear on a project
at a manageable cost. An assurance role can take a range of
forms, and can include support regarding:
• quality assurance of deliverables
prior to any release to a Project Board or other forum
• input where project work
has lost direction and needs an outside perspective
• ensuring a link is continually
made to the business needs underlying any particular project
