Apira has found that Trusts often struggle to provide the right level of technical expertise to manage larger NPfIT projects, such as CRS. Unfortunately, if the technical workstreams are not managed effectively, there is a distinct possibility that a project will overrun, not deliver the outcomes in terms of data migration and lead to costly data entry/manipulation.

With this in mind, Apira has added a Technical Services arm to its service offering, that will offer specialists in the following areas:

Recent work includes:

  • Data Migration lead for a London CRS deployment
  • Technical Design Authority for Southern Cluster LSP for two CRS deployments

  • Registration Authority Hardware and software troubleshooting at various Trusts
  • Data Migration and Development/Deployment of BI solution at two Mental Health Trusts in South England
