The Directory of Services

The Directory of Services is the background database that holds information describing all the services that organisations offer and which enables referring clinicians to search for, and refer to, appropriate services. Commissioning rules between a commissioning organisation and provider are also held within the DOS.

As the ‘shop-window’ in which providers display their services, effectively populating your DOS requires thought and planning in order to best present these and make them a preferred choice.
